The LynxOS 7-x-24 support upgrade

The LynxOS 7-x-24 Support Upgrade services LynxOS running on deployed products. It is not intended for development projects. The 7-x-24 Support Upgrade is designed for customers who require the highest level of LynuxWorks™ support on an around-the-clock basis for their products in the field. This is an upgrade to LynxOS Priority Support and is purchased along with it for a 12-month period.

The LynxOS 7-x-24 Support Upgrade includes:

• a Technical Account Manager is assigned for account familiarity and coordination of all technical support issues
• support for questions pertaining to installation and configuration, command syntax, and functionality of system calls, device facilities and utilities, at the level of the reference manual
• assistance with problems related to the interaction of system calls and device driver facilities
• access to Response Center via a priority 800 toll-free number—24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• initial call-back within four hours—24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• software problem reporting via call-tracking numbers
• software problem escalation for critical issues
• interim fixes (where appropriate) for critical issues relating to LynxOS or BlueCat® Linux® only
• software subscription service for revision updates and upgrades
• access to the LynuxWorks FTP site

Porting-Kit and Source-Code Support

LynuxWorks offers Porting-Kit Support for customers who are modifying board support packages (BSPs) in order to port LynxOS to a custom computer board embedded in their product.

Source-Code Support is available for customers who are working directly with the source of LynuxWorks' licensed software products.
