ITT chose the LynxOS®-SE real-time operating system (RTOS) for its next-generation secure communications products. The features in LynxOS-SE will enable ITT to speed the development of military communication devices, including Software Defined Radios (SDRs) that require less power and support evaluation assurance level 4 (EAL 4). This translates to products that have longer use in the field before having to be recharged and communications that are secure from unauthorized interception.
