Tecsidel Toll Collection Systems Toll-collection systems and vehicle-access control
Tecsidel's turn-key and custom toll-collection systems provide vehicle-access control at facilities like bridges, ferries and airports around the world. Systems accept multiple payment types and may be manned or auto-manned. Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) tags are increasingly being used in Techsidel's toll-collection systems. System components include real-time monitoring, fraud control, automated data recovery, and automated vehicle classification via peripherals such as sensors, laser scanners, and cameras.
System software operates at the host, plaza and lane levels. At the lane level, platform-independent software based on multithreading, real-time and OOP (object-oriented programming) principles runs on top of the LynxOS (RTOS) and Linux operating systems.
