The Network Malware Security (NMS) system detects unknown zero-day malware or single-target malware attacks that firewalls and other network-security products can miss. The NMS analyzer can take any piece of unknown binary executable code and provide valuable information about it instantaneously. The NMS system includes agents that can monitor a network by connecting to the span ports of routers and switches to feed all Microsoft® Windows® executable files discovered in the network to the NMS Analyzer automatically.
The ValidEdge Network Malware Security (NMS) system uses the LynxSecure secure virtualization platform for executing potentially malicious code in a contained Windows environment. The code is observed as it executes and a report is generated about its behavior. ValidEdge takes advantage of LynxSecure's ability to run multiple operating systems concurrently on a multicore processor. Six separate malware samples can execute simultaneously, which speeds detection and provides solutions and warnings before an attack has become widespread.
