As a long-time strong supporter of open standards, LynuxWorks™ is pleased with the advent of the SCA (Software Communications Architecture), an open architecture designed to ensure portability and interoperability in Software-Defined Radio (SDR) development.
The SCA was developed by the U.S. Department of Defense Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) project, and its specifications provide for control of radio software and hardware components.
For additional information about SDR development, download webinar notes and voice-over from our November, 2006 SDR webinar collaboration with PrismTech and Telelogic.
