Virtualization for Embedded Linux is para-virtualized for optimal performance of Linux applications on multi-OS systems controlled by the LynxSecure embedded hypervisor and separation kernel.

For example, in a sample multi-OS medical system like Portwell's Hospital Wireless Sensor Platform Proof-of-Concept (PoC), separate secure partitions could contain Linux, Windows®, and real-time applications running on an RTOS such as LynxOS.
