SAN JOSÉ, Calif., March 15, 2006—LynuxWorks™, a world leader in the embedded software market, today announced that it has joined the Xilinx® Alliance Program. The program is designed for third-party companies to take a proactive role in optimizing their products for efficient design and development with Xilinx programmable solutions. LynuxWorks and Xilinx are working together to enable LynuxWorks' complete family of embedded software solutions to take maximum advantage of the high performance embedded processing capabilities of the Xilinx Virtex-4 family.
