Unlimited Opera: Opera and LynuxWorks Enter into Reseller Agreement

Oslo - Jan. 31, 2005 - Opera Software ASA and LynuxWorks™, a leading provider in the embedded software industry, today announced that the Opera browser will be an available option with LynuxWorks' BlueCat® Linux® embedded operating system. The two companies have entered into a reseller agreement, allowing LynuxWorks to resell the Opera browser to its customers as an available option to its BlueCat Linux solutions package.

"The Opera browser is a welcome enhancement to our BlueCat Linux operating system," said Dr. Inder Singh, chairman and CEO for LynuxWorks. "We sought a browser that would provide our users with an unmatched Internet experience that would be safe, fast and easy. Opera met all of our needs and more. We are excited to offer this browser as a part of our solutions package."

LynuxWorks' BlueCat Linux is used in embedded systems ranging from small consumer-type devices to large-scale, multi-CPU systems. With Opera as an available option for BlueCat Linux, users can now enjoy the functionality, speed and security of the Opera browser. As a result, users can experience cutting-edge embedded operating system coupled with the fast, full-featured Opera browser.

LynuxWorks has long used the Opera browser to display LynuxWorks' Linux ABI capability on its flagship LynxOS® real-time operating system (RTOS) by recompiling Linux code on LynxOS and displaying it with the Opera browser. With this announcement, LynuxWorks and Opera Software will now extend browser support to LynuxWorks' BlueCat Linux.

"With Opera as an available option, LynuxWorks will continue to offer the best possible product to its customers," says Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software. "Users of LynuxWorks' solutions package can enjoy a more secure, flexible and faster Internet experience with Opera, ensuring the best Internet experience for end users."
