CodeTEST Software Analysis Tools simplify development and increase accuracy of applications designed for LynuxWorks™ BlueCat Linux and LynxOS RTOS

SAN JOSÉ, Calif., and AUSTIN, Texas—February 9, 2004—LynuxWorks™ Inc. has selected CodeTEST™ Software Analysis Tools, Version 4 from Metrowerks, as the code-analysis tool to support its BlueCat® Linux® embedded operating system (OS) and its real-time embedded operating system (RTOS), LynxOS®.

Metrowerks CodeTEST Software Analysis Tools, Version 4, supports the newest version of the Linux OS, Version 2.6, and is now compatible with BlueCat and LynxOS from LynuxWorks. Embedded software developers who require code visibility and precise analysis of embedded systems in operation can use CodeTEST to easily view execution history of their systems at the source or RTOS level. The CodeTEST instrumentation technology provides visibility into software execution in real-time without interrupting the system, saving valuable development time and resources while enabling increased product quality.
