Beltsville, MD, April 19, 2004 — Empress Software and LynuxWorks™ announce immediate availability of EMPRESS Embedded Database V8.62 for LynuxWorks' BlueCat® Embedded Linux® 5.0, the industry's first commercially available embedded Linux technology based on the open-source Linux 2.6 kernel. EMPRESS Embedded Database on BlueCat Linux is a full-featured database management system.
