SAN JOSÉ, Calif.—February 18, 2003—Empress Software and LynuxWorks™, Inc. announce the immediate availability of Version 8.62 of the Empress database management system for the LynuxWorks' real-time operating system (RTOS), LynxOS® Version 4.0.

There is no need to recompile the Empress database engine, the applications written in Empress MR Kernel Level "C" API or Empress Embedded SQL.
