LynxOS Selected for Mid-Range and High-End HP Laserjet Printers
SAN JOSÉ, Calif., June 19, 2000—LynuxWorks™, Inc., (formerly Lynx Real-Time Systems), a leader in embedded Linux software solutions, announced today that Hewlett-Packard Company has selected its LynxOS® real-time operating system for mid-range and high-end HP LaserJet printers.

LynxOS offers a real-time, embeddable operating system architecture based on industry standards such as Linux® and POSIX®, in a footprint as small as 33Kbps. LynxOS is a part of LynuxWorks product family, which also offers products containing embedded Linux and enhancements for high-availability, interprocessor communications and real-time binary compatibility with Linux.
