Lynx Receives ISO 9001 Certification

SAN JOSÉ, Calif.—August 30, 1999—Lynx Real-Time Systems, Inc. today announced it has been registered for ISO 9001 certification by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The certification helps ensure the quality and performance of Lynx products and services in mission-critical applications.

"The ISO 9001 requirements of documenting and following well-defined procedures will form the foundation for our quality program," said Bill Hogan, president and CEO of Lynx. "We will use this foundation to continuously improve the quality of our products and services to ensure the satisfaction of our customers."

Lynx embarked on the ISO 9001 registration as part of its continuing corporate quality program. The LynxOS® real-time operating system is used in many mission-critical applications in telecommunications, avionics, defense, office automation, and medical instrumentation. The ISO 9001 procedures put in place as a result of this effort will help Lynx extend its industry-leading reputation for quality. Lynx has received awards from customers in recognition of its support and customer satisfaction.
