Tews' TIP815 is an IndustryPack®-compatible module with a complete ARCNET interface using the controller COM20020. The COM20020 contains the ARCNET controller with transceiver and dual port RAM. Various network topologies are supported (Star, Tree, Bus).

Two interface types of the TIP815 are available: the TIP815-10 /11 offers the traditional isolated hybrid interface and the TIP815-20/21 provides an isolated RS485 differential driver interface. Two speed grades of the TIP815 are available: the TIP815-10 /20 offers 2.5Mbps and the TIP815-11/21 provides 5Mbps.

The TIP815 is ideal suited for industrial / factory automation and automotive applications. The TIP815-TM-10 transition module provides a BNC connector in a 6U front panel and bus termination capabilities.
