Spectracom's TPRO-PCI, developed originally by KSI Corporation, performs timing and synchronization functions referenced to an input time-code signal. An onboard clock is phase-locked to this incoming time code, and the clock source is then used to provide a variety of features, including:
- Transferring time to the computer bus
- Generating IRIG-B
- Providing time-tag functions
- Pulse rate outputs
- Interrupt generation
- Start/stop time output
