The PCI-Syncclock32 card synchronizes automatically with its timing reference (IRIG-B, A, GPS). Applications running on the host machine can directly access the card via a "long-word" register.
The PCI-Syncclock32's strength lies in its high-resolution real-time clock (100ns), easy access through a C/C++ function, and, most importantly, ongoing clock maintenance in case of synchronization disruption.
The reference signal may be time code (IRIB-B, IRIG-A, NASA-36, 2137), a GPS receiver, or an external PPS. Two synchronization phases and an internal oscillator combine to deliver extreme precision.
Three programmable outputs allow the generation of frequencies from 0.00153 PPS to 1.5 MPPS, in addition to a "match" output for generating pulses at precise intervals. This card is available in several different form factors, with numerous options available.
