The FC2312, formerly from SBS Technologies, are two-gigabit Fibre Channel PMC Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) and supporting software tools provide the high sustained throughput and low latency required for demanding real-time and storage applications. Engineered to take full advantage of industry-standard Fibre Channel features and benefits, GE Intelligent Solutions HBAs incorporate a streamlined protocol engine; support for two concurrently operating 2 Gb/s capable Fibre Channel nodes; PCI dual-address cycle and cache commands support; and multi-ID aliasing in target mode. Optimized device drivers are provided for standard file system and network support.
