Fieldbus

Fieldbus is a digital, two-way, multi-drop communication technology for linking isolated smart field devices, such as controllers, transducers, actuators and sensors. Applications that incorporate fieldbus technology can be found in industries such as process control, defense and aerospace. Real-time systems using the LynxOS® real-time operating system can take advantage of fieldbus technology.
