The ARM920T hard macrocells is suitable for a wide range of platform OS-based applications. Based around the high performance ARM9TDMI 32-bit RISC CPU, the ARM920T features instruction and data caches, memory management unit (MMU), AMBA bus-compliant interfaces, and support for ARM's real-time trace technology with the optional ETM9 Embedded Trace Macrocell™. The ARM920T has 16K/16K caches.
The ARM920T processor core module is ideal for applications such as smart phones, PDAs, digital cameras, audio and video decoding, automotive infotainment systems, set top boxes.
The Integrator/AP ASIC Development Platform facilitates the implementation of multi-master designs around a single shared AMBA 2.0 AHB system bus, and supports three PCI slots allowing expansion cards to be added for Ethernet, display and audio.
Integrator/AP (Variant A) has a CompactPCI connector allowing it to slot into a CompactPCI rack. Note that Integrator/AP is longer than a standard CompactPCI card. For systems that require CompactPCI, this board also provides a migration platform. The board is fully compliant with the PCI Local Bus specification.
The Integrator/AP AHB (Variant B) is designed to fit in a standard ATX size PC chassis using standard mounting holes and power connectors. This form factor allows a variety of systems to be constructed, with the PC case providing the mechanical stability required for plug-in PCI expansion cards.
